Calling all Scholars! Get your quills ready for “The Great Big Quiz” at The Quill & Scholar – a series of quiz nights with fresh, fun themes every month. This time, we’re celebrating something extra special!

Join us on Tuesday 25th March for “Our Great Big 1st Birthday Quiz!” It’s time to mark a whole year of fun, quizzes and memories at The Quill & Scholar.

To celebrate our 1st Birthday we are going to be upping the quiz prizes… First prize this month will be £125, plus a bottle of Champagne of course! Second prize will be £75 and third prize will be £50! Tom from Pineapple will be your host as normal but there may be also be a few “birthday” related questions on the night!

The evening of celebratory vibes will be hosted by Tom from Pineapple Events, as always. Entry is just £2 per person.

Of course, no party is complete without great food and drinks. Treat yourself to something delicious from our bar menu, like Guinness Welsh rarebit or a mouth-watering minute steak baguette with fries, perfectly paired with a celebratory glass of fizz or a cold pint.

The quiz will kick off at 7.30pm, so make sure you arrive before 7pm to grab the best seat in the house and place your food and drink order.

What else do we have planned for our Birthday?

As it’s a particularly special occasion, our 1st Birthday, we’d like offer a glass of Prosecco to anyone dining from our A La Carte menu on Tuesday 25th.*

That’s not all! We are also going to be giving away 10 vouchers to the value of £25 each throughout March.

We’re also planning some music on Friday and Saturday evenings, turning our Lazy Sundays, into a lazy weekend! We’ll be featuring some of our favourite local artists from the past year, so there will be plenty of chances for you to groove on down.
