Lazy Sunday’s

Sink your teeth into a Sunday roast that’s so good, it’ll have you coming back for seconds (and thirds!). Wrap up your week the right way with a Sunday feast – imagine bottomless roast potatoes that are perfectly golden and crisp, fluffy Yorkshire puddings, and gravy so smooth it should come with its own jazz soundtrack. In fact, it does!

Every last Sunday of the month, join us for live music with local musicians to help wind away the good times. This month we are welcoming a member from the multi-award winning Nero String Quartet to play solo for our guests at The Quill & Scholar.

The quartet have performed on TV, film and pop recordings – most recently on GMTV, Don’t Tell the Bride, Four Weddings, and Made in Chelsea. Established since 2001, the musicians have also performed in shows and concerts with several artists and professional orchestras (including Michael Bublé, Massive Attack, Neil Diamond, BBC Phil, BBC CO, BBC NOW, WNO, RTE, RLPO and the Ulster Orchestra) as well as performing on luxury cruise liners including P&O, Fred Olsen, Celebrity and Cunard.

Choose between Grass-fed British beef rump, sourced from only the finest and most sustainable meat from the award-winning family butcher, Aubrey Allen, slow-cooked pork and apricot roulade with pork crackling or a delicious beetroot and smoked cheddar parcel served with a truffled artichoke pesto.

Join Stuart and the team from 2-4pm on the last Sunday of every month – see you then!
