We’re serving up a veggie delight Monday-Friday from 12th-23rd May. Grab any vegetarian main (including specials) and get a vegetarian starter on the house!

Our spring menu is rooted in fresh and flavourful vegetarian delights, and what better way to celebrate Vegetarian Fortnight than with a complimentary starter?

Indulge in seasonal favourites including our Harissa-glazed sweet potato, topped with dukkah and served over bulgur wheat, chickpea & mixed seed salad – flavour perfection!

Fizz and Chips!

Join us at The Quill & Scholar for the perfect way to celebrate National Fish & Chips Day! Running from Monday 2nd to Friday 6th June, you can reel in our classic Fish & Chips between 12–6pm, and we’ll pour you a treat – enjoy a complimentary 125ml glass of Nyetimber, the finest English sparkling wine that’s sure to make your taste buds tingle.

Want to keep the fizz flowing? Nyetimber will also be available by the glass throughout the week to enjoy. It’s the catch of the week!

Father’s Day

Mark your calendars for Father’s Day in Lichfield on June 15th, and spoil the father figure in your life with a feast fit for a king at The Quill & Scholar.

Think one-day-only Boston Rib Eye roast – as rare as it is well done.

With sizzling perks and a pint of Peroni on the house, it would truly be a mi-steak not to join us! Just a £10 deposit secures your spot and one very happy dad!

National Day Specials

We’re celebrating two fabulous food days the way they should be celebrated, with food! From April 23rd-27th, we’re going green and white for Asparagus Day with two spear-tacular specials. Then, from Monday 2nd – Sunday 15th June, we’re painting the town red for British Tomato Fortnight—feast on some de-VINE tomato-inspired dishes and sip on half-priced Bloody Marys, available 7 days a week!

National Wine Day

We’ve got some grape news for you, on May 19th & 20th we’re adding the wine to your dine when you can enjoy a smashing 50% off a selection of wine. So make sure to book your table to make the most of this offer, sip back, relax, and pour yourself another! 

Seasonal Set Dishes

Indulge in our Seasonal Set Dishes, a monthly changing selection of dishes that shine a seasonal spotlight on the delicious ingredients of the month.

Enjoy two courses for £18.50, or treat yourself to a third course for an added £6, served Monday to Friday, 12–6pm.

Keep an eye out for these special dishes on our menu – they’ll be *starred so you can spot them easily!

Calling all furry foodies, we’ve partnered with Sir Woofchester to bring our canine customers a doggy-spread fit for a (bar)King.

Steak Night

Enjoy our weekday Steak Night offering at The Quill & Scholar, order any two steaks Monday-Wednesday from 5pm and enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine, plus 3 mouth-watering sauces, completely on the house! 

All of our grass-fed, ethically reared and 30-day dry aged steaks are sourced from award-winning butcher to the Royal family Aubrey Allen.
